- Dorint Novotel, Paris - Roissy

This new built Airport Hotel, situated on the Hotel island next to the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris - Roissy, was the first Hotel branded as Dorint - Novotel.

Together with the design team at Tombusch&Brumann Interieurdesign, I was asked, as the head of the interior design department, to do the design of all public areas, following the new design guide, recently developed for the Novotel brand. Beside that, it was our duty, to do the designwork to arrange all roomtypes and corridoors according to the brand´s guidelines

This project got accomplished and opened in 2003/2004.

In the time period between October 2002 and October 2004 I was employed
at the company Tombusch&Brumann Interieurdesign in Ascheberg, near Münster. This is a company for Property Settings, having, beside several Production places, their own Planning- Purchase- and Assembly - Department. My position was the Head of the Interior Design department.

During this period I could realize, with a team of 12 Interior Designers, Hotel projects of all stars categories. Refurbishments as well as New built Hotels in Germany, Swiss and France.

My responsibility was situated in the coordination of the teams in the different projects, leading the designing and construction planning’s.
Representing and presenting the company and the work at the clients.

My time at PCG Planungs- und Consulting GmbH, in Hannover

In the time period between November 2004 and Mai 2007, I was employed in an office for Property Settings, Architecture and Interior Design, specialized in the Russian speaking marked.

During this period I could realize, with a team of 6 cooperators, Interior Designers, Engineers and drawing assistants, Brand Hotel projects in Kazakhstan, in the Ukraine and in Russia.

My responsibility was situated in the designing and the coordination of the team; leading the designing and construction planning’s.
Representing and presenting the company and the work in meetings with the clients.

My time at ThyssenKrupp Marinesystems, Blohm+Voss GmbH in Hamburg and HDW in Kiel

In the time period between Mai 2007 and January 2008 I was employed
at Blohm+Voss GmbH / TKMS, Hamburg

My position was Head of the Interior department. My department was divided
in two Groups, working in Kiel at HDW, and in Hamburg at Blohm+Voss.

My responsibility was situated in the disciplinary and technical / professional directory of the internal and external employed Engineers. The operational handling of the topics was carried out by two Group Leaders, one in Kiel and one in Hamburg. Beside the inhouse competence, I was obliged to maintain our Customers, according to my departments business, as well as to control our subcontractors in order to fulfil their obligations.

As I remember and still do realize today, it has never been different;
I have always been, and still am exclusively interested in developing and improving Quality. No matter if it is in Business, private life or in sports.

- Residence

To work out the Final Design of an investor’s competition, our office was again asked, to take over an interesting order.

The problematic was to develop one hundred high standard Apartments into an already existing area and Landscape plan. This Apartment’s should cover all aspects of modern living from today and in future, as well as all aspects of living in higher ages.

My position was to control our Team of 2 Architects and 3 drawing assistents in our office. I was in charge to develop different Ground plan layouts for the differiung apartment typs, as well as architectural details under consideration of acoustic, fire- and thermotechnical requirements.
After the period of developing the preliminary Designs to the Final Designs, we have been working the project out to be ready to get release by the town authority.

- Headquarter Building

Our office got the order to do the Architecture and Interior Design of a highly representative Headquarter Building for a German Holding Company.
My part was beside the development of the Architectural relevant details,
The Interior Design as well as the detailed design in scales 1:1 and the construction planning’s of the entire Interior, to prepare the tender documents and to control our office team.

Interior customized separtation walls, fixed - and loose furniture in in a symbiosis with the external appearance of the Arcitecture.

Ergonomically developed reception, as a visual and tecnical focus.

- Conference - and Meetingrooms

In the Headquarter building of theHaver & Boecker GmbH, a worldwide operating company in Oelde / Westfalen, situated conference and meeting rooms needed to get substantially refitted; regarding design and in technical requirements. AV/TV, etc.












All technical requirements like shades, Light management, Screens, Beamers, TV and Internet sources as well as climate and ventilation are to be controlled over a touch screen panel. Considering, this project got realized almost about10 years ago, it was technically on the top.

- Guest House Port Andratx, Mallorca

Another extraordinary order was this 50 year old property in the cliffs of the bay of Port Andratx, Mallorca.

From the entrance to the water level there are 4 levels over all, Hotel - like rooms, lots of Terraces, A semi professional kitchen, a Bar and other rooms for representative, as well as private use.
To connect the boat – launch garage over the levels up to the kitchen, we implement a stainless steel escalator.
Befor the restoration started, the entire house got stripped, before we started the refit to end up with a respectable property of highest requirement regarding safety, quietness and luxury Interior.

My part was to take over the whole project after the House got stripped.
The new Interior Layout the final Interior Design, as well as to organize all Steps of the assembly, quality control, logistics was lying in my responsibility. Floors, walls, ceiling, windows, AV/TV, Kitchen and salon equipment.
In order to speed up the project, I worked together with several German suppliers. We flew in and out from week to week and sometimes only for one day, to be in meetings with the Authority and he Local Architect, to measure and to meet the Client to clarify special items.

After a time period of 18 Month it was done and the owner could have his first Business meeting in the House. After 4 Years the property got sold to and Irish guy for a doubled price.
